Works great!
4/ 5stars

Pros: - Stays in place 99 of the time when moving it - Bends in almost any way that you would prefer - Gravity does not weigh it down and stays where it should with the screws - Different type of Mic Grips, for example. I have a Blue Snowball microphone, but it didn't have the socket I needed. But I was allowed to unscrew the attachment it gave by default and was able to screw on my Microphone :)Cons: - Not a big deal, but the picture made the clamp size bigger than it actually is. I thought I would be able to put this on my desk but it wasn't big enough, so I had to roughly saw a piece out of my desk to make it fit. However, I have a unique type of desk and I would be shocked if anyone else had this problem. - When the bottom of the screw is tightened (the one that keeps the whole arm in one place) when I want to turn it away from me or closer to my mouth, the whole thing will move with it. But if you were to have the screw undone then whenever you move the arm up or down it would move unsettling. But since I move my microphone close and away from me a ton, I prefer it to be unscrewed and deal with the unsettle unsturdy feel when moving it. Though it has never done anything bad to it yet. (Just feels scary :x )Overall Review: I would recommend this clamp for basically everyone. Just keep in mind what type of desk you have. If you have a flat desk that isn't really thick, you should be good. But if you have a unique desk like mine and may have an over bite on the bottom. Then you might want to be careful or look into it more before buying it. Read more

Unreliable, nice while it lasted
2/ 5stars

Pros: - Very flexible- Easy to install Cons: - After a few months of usage, the base of the product where the boom slides into the desk mount bent. Looking at it the metal here is very thin, despite it bearing the largest torque. This made the product largely unusable since the boom could no longer swivel, and I did not trust my expensive microphone to it since it looked like it was going to snap any day. Overall Review: Would not recommend given current design. Shame since if they spent slightly more on stronger metal would have been a great product! Read more

Straight up garbage
1/ 5stars

Pros: None Cons: Everything. Made cheaply, wouldn't fit my mic and I had to alter the thing so it would screw into it. It came the bare minimum forcing me to make it work rather than do all the leg work for a refund. Do not waste your money. Overall Review: DO NOT BUY!!

Very Decent Boom for the Price!
4/ 5stars

Pros: The boom is constructed of metal, so it's not flimsy at all. The springs are nice and tight, and the joints are just right for holding my heavy Snowball Microphone. I had to take the legs off the mic stand to make it fit, but it holds it steady even at steep angles. For the price I was pleasan tly surprised with this mic boom!Cons: The mounting clamp has a tendency to wiggle when adjusting the microphone arm. My suggestion is to use a tool to tighten the clamp, because using your fingers doesn't seem to get it tight enough. I tightened the clamp up with some pliers, and now it hasn't moved at all.Overall Review: I would certainly recommend this boom to anyone looking for a cheaper solution to getting your microphone off your desk, or positioning it just right. It's certainly worth the price. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was because the clamp took a little bit of tightening to get it to close securely on my desk. Read more
